Slide-Table
Feeds Depending
upon the shape of your part and fixture, a sliding table may speed and
simplify feeding.
Sliding tables are available
in 3 configurations. In each case, the table is composed of 4
Thomson bearings that glide on matching rails. This design
provides a smooth motion and consistent positioning.
Manual
Slide-Table ( $500 )
Low-volume personalization work may be done
using and inexpensive manual slide table. The operator simply
grasps a handle and moves the table in and out. |
|
 |
Auto
Slide-Table ( $1,250 )
The auto-sliding
table is a smooth 1-stage mechanism that mechanically moves the table in and out
in time with the print cycle.
In this design, a stepper-motor powers the table's
movement, monitoring its position to ensure a precise forward registration on every cycle.

 |
Digital Slide-Table ( $4,000 )
The ultimate in control, the table's
motion is controlled by a programmable PLC driving a highly precise linear
actuator.
Giving you complete control over the
table's ramp speed, stop position and cycle repeat, this system can gang-stamp a
1-up die multiple times across the part. ie : feed, stamp, feed, stamp, feed,
stamp, etc.

 |
Digital
Foil Feed ( $2,500 )
The foil feed can be upgraded to a stepper-motor
system that pulls the foil to a digitally-set length and/or precisely stops on a
registration mark.
When stamping regular foil, simply measure the foil
pull length, and enter the number into a digital controller. The stepping
motor then counts steps until the desired length has been met.
When stamping heat transfers or hologram foils that use
a registration mark, the foil advance is controlled by the supplemental
photo-electric sensor. The sensor monitors the foil and stops when it
senses the registration mark.

Part Fixtures
It is vital that your part be correctly
supported and positioned when stamping. Malahide is able to
produce a wide variety of part fixtures to ensure print accuracy. |

|
Ancillary
Synchronization ( $500 )
The M is
able to be triggered by an ancillary controller, like a robot feed or a
conveyor belt's part sensor. The ancillary synchronization upgrade
simplifies the integration process by pre-wiring the machine to be
activated by a supplied 24 V pulse. |

CE
Compliance ( $2,500 )
Machines sold into Europe require an
electrical and control system upgrade to comply with the CE safety
regimen. The process includes equipping the
M-Series with a 220 power transfer, a modified control
system, additional guarding and guard sensors.
